Last night, First lady Michelle Obama visited Penn (in Wynn Commons in back of Houston Hall) for a “get out the vote” event for today's midterm elections. If you remember, the Obama competitors also rallied here.

Recently, I was among a group of alumni invited to a special breakfast with visiting University officials from alumni relations and development.
At the meeting, we were shown a fantastically produced Penn promotional video that by the end, gave me chills and made me feel real proud to be an alum!

While THIS song continues to be my #1 favorite Gabriel Mann (C'95, Off the Beat) song, Gabe and his band "The Rescues" just covered another sure to be favorite of mine of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream" ....and it's awesome.
Not only that but their music video for the cover is going viral with over 63k hits in 5 days (and is #31 on itunes alternative charts and climbing!)
