The touching reason why she's not afraid of ghosts

UPenn and Jill Goldberg and ghosts and Halloween

I've covered singer-songwriter Jill Goldberg (C'04, Dischord A Cappella, Penn Choir, Wind Ensemble) on DT before and have been saving this great music video of hers for Halloween because I really like this song and there were some cool animated ghosts floating around in the video.

However, what I didn't know until yesterday was the moving backstory behind this song.

After the jump, watch the video and learn about the touching reason why her perspective about ghosts has changed over the years.

More Penn alumni who love singing Adele songs

As you've seen on DT, I've covered lots of alumni who like singing covers of songs.

A particular favorite from lots of Penn alumni over the past year has been doing Adele covers.

After the jump, listen to two alumni covering Adele's "Someone Like You" (and they're really good!)

Jill Goldberg (C'04, Dischord A Cappella, Penn Choir, Wind Ensemble) covered a Lady Gaga song before for us and today I wanted to share her new cover of Britney Spears' summer anthem, "I Wanna Go".

After the jump, listen to Jill's great re-interpretation!

The Penn alum musician wants to be a bitch, be she's just too polite

After the viral lady gaga cover she did, Jill Goldberg (C'04, Dischord A Cappella, Penn Choir, Wind Ensemble) has been hard at work on her new album "Girl, Polite".

The album just dropped and she's got some real catchy music on it with some interesting backstories.

After the jump, check out her new music video for "Not Worth It" and her anthem on how to be a stronger person.

Her Lady Gaga Cover Going Viral (VIDEO)

Jill Goldberg (C'04, Dischord A Cappella, Penn Choir, Wind Ensemble) is one smart (and talented) musician.

Jill got inspired by so many independent artists who got literally millions of views for their cover video song that she thought she'd jump on the bandwagon herself to help her promote her upcoming album.

After the jump check out Jill's great rendition of a popular Lady Gaga song!
