Over the years on DT, we've had awesome holiday serenading from the Glee Club, a swingin' Penny Loafers alum and this soulful alum.

Now, a big thank you goes out to the Counterparts for rallying together during finals to create a special video treat for my DT readers that you'll find after the jump!

I've seen my fair share of student films over the years and am happy to report that these films have now also evolved into the first ever TV sitcom created by current Penn students.

In the first episode of "Classless", Steve, a student who has been shunned by the school newspaper goes on a mission to create a second student newspaper.  In doing so it looks likehe'll be getting second-rate journalists as well.  Laughter of course ensues.

So here's the deal.

This show is well written, well cast and well edited (in a sort of a similar manner as "The Office").  There's some great dialogue and characters (check out the "business card guy") and the show moves rather quickly.

After the jump enjoy the first episode of "Classless"!

I love when different Penn people email me about the same contest they have entered themselves in.

It happened here and it's happening again for a special Halloween related contest; I was contacted by a Penn alum and a Penn undergrad who have created some very creative films for a very creative film contest called "THE ABCS of DEATH".

After the jump, watch their films and vote for them by October 31!  (help get out the vote by "liking" this post and tweeting about it!)

In honor of this weekend's alumni weekend, I have a special treat for you.

Back in October, Clarissa Palmer (C'14), a new Penn freshman, wrote a great post about the DO's and DON'Ts of walking Locust Walk.

Now Clarissa came up with another great list I think all of us can appreciate about how you know you're a Penn student.

After the jump read her 20 points and see if you agree!

Since my days as a Penn undergrad, I've always been a fan of Off the Beat and the talent the group gets from year to year.

Recently the group came to LA during their spring break and put on a great show.

After the jump, listen to some really powerful voices from both their LA performance and from a preview spring show video promoting their Spring show this weekend.

Recently a tweet from Clarissa Palmer (C'14), a new Penn freshman, caught my eye about the DO's and DON'Ts of walking Locust Walk.

I thought all the Penn generations of my readers would appreciate this:

"Every single day, hundreds of people walk on Locust Walk (main pedestrian walkway at UPenn) to get to the library, class, their home, or to the dining halls. Everyone has a destination and a purpose to be there. So why the hell do some people stroll like they are just taking a walk in the park? Some people just don’t understand that people are in a rush and they need to keep moving. Here are the 7 things everyone at UPenn and people who come to visit need to know about walking on Locust Walk."

Read them after the jump!
