SNL Penn alum asked Lorne Michaels...what?

Last week, SNL (and Penn alum) Vanessa Bayer (C'04) was the commencement speaker at Annenberg's undergraduate graduation ceremony.

Oops! Denzel Washington falls forward with his zipper open

He may have successfully zipped up the the commencement speech he gave at Penn last week, but apparently he forgot to zip up.

Denzel Washington hangs out on College Green

Yesterday I posted some videos of the Hollywood-filled commencement speeches from President Amy Gutmann and Denzel Washington.

Denzel Washington to Penn grads: "Fall Forward"

Earlier today, I posted Dr. Gutmann's Hollywood-movie themed 2011 commencement speech and mentioned that every year, I make it a point of listening to Penn's commencement speech as a good dose of inspiration.

After the jump, now listen to 2011 commencement speaker (and Penn parent) Denzel Washington talk about his career, tell us all what he's terrified of, and how all of us "will suck at something" and what we need to do about it.

Again, I encourage all of you to watch this speech and then continue pursuing your dreams!

Every year, I make it a point of listening to Penn's commencement speech as a good dose of inspiration.

After the jump, listen to Dr. Gutmann's very creative, Hollywood movie-themed commencement speech she gave at the 2011 ceremonies yesterday ...and be sure to listen for some very special sound effects added at key moments during her speech!
