The fall season is here, which begs the question, is it cold enough to break out a coat...and soon the scarf and gloves? Will you need a rain jacket for your trip to LA this weekend?
One Penn alum created a new iphone app that will help you with these decisions.
More after the jump!

- Meteorologist developed: Lonnie Quinn, CBS Early Show Meteorologist, helped develop the Wearcast algorithm, which combines temperature, wind chill, humidity, and precipitation forecasts into your very own wardrobe recommendation
- 5 day forecasts around the world
- Sensitivity settings: Always colder than your friends? Overheat easily? Just adjust the weather sensitivity settings and get a Wearcast that’s suited for your needs
- Male and female outfits
- High fashion: Alejandro Cardenas, art director of the Proenza Schouler fashion line, designed the outfits for Wearcast v1.0
Howard tells me, "I always found myself staring out the window looking at other people’s outfits in the morning to help me decide how warmly I needed to dress. Wearcast simplifies this process for me right on my iPhone and shaves off precious minutes in the morning figuring out how to dress for the day."
I wonder what the app would be suggest to wear during the mother of all storms which hit Penn last year?

Speaking of what to wear, do you have your costume picked out for Halloween?
