Case in point for one talented Penn alum...
Recently, NBC okayed the single-camera comedy pilot "Friends With Benefits" for (500) Days of Summer
Per The Hollywood Reporter, the pilot "explores modern-day romance through the eyes of five friends each looking for "the one" but in the meantime settling for "friends with benefits."
This sounds in line with NBC programming: kind of like a 2010 edgier version of "Friends".
