Back in July, I showcased Amin Osman's (C'09) Unwritten video which had a good payoff ending. Now Amin just produced Table of Three another interesting, yet pleasantly disturbing tale.

Penn Los Angeles stand-ups, Lesley Wolff (C'93) and Jessie Schneiderman (C'05) are in a new web series called "So Fun, Right" about a 30 something out of work writer (Lesley) who moves in with a young hip Hollywood hottie (Jessie).  Lesley and Jessie really are so great in these that watching them will actually make you cringe a bit (in a good way!)

Plus the videos are shot very well ...much like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "The Office".

Bill Shraga's (W'93, Penn Crew Team) world premiere of the latest film he produced, entitled Wake, will be the opening night film at the 2009 Cinequest Film Festival on February 25, in San Jose, CA.

Per the film's website, the synopsis of the film is as follows:
"When things get tough for offbeat Carys Reitman, she does what any emotionally isolated, modern girl would do - she goes to strangers' funerals. At one fateful funeral, she unexpectedly meets Tyler, a man mourning his fiancee. Despite the warnings of her undertaker best friend Shane and her roommate Lila, she finds herself connecting to someone for the first time. Searching for answers, Carys goes to see her estranged mother to confront her past. And as she tries to open herself to the risks of love with Tyler, she realizes she may have more to fear than just a broken heart..."

Brothers and Sisters
Last week, I posted a video about a Penn alum asking our Penn in Pictures panel about their advice about writing successful spec scripts.

Today's question from our audience to Sherri Cooper Landsman (C'94) is:
"Where do you get your ideas for stories on "Brothers and Sisters"?
...Find out which episodes were inspired from Sherri's own life!

Any suggestions of your own to offer our Penn community?  Comment below!

In the coming week, I will consolidate the remaining Penn in Pictures Q&A videos in a few more posts organized by speaker.

A special thanks to editor David Chalfin (C'96), a fantastic editor living in Los Angeles who recorded and edited all the Penn in Pictures videos. Check out his reel here!
