I love when different Penn people email me about the same contest they have entered themselves in.
It happened here and it's happening again for a special Halloween related contest; I was contacted by a Penn alum and a Penn undergrad who have created some very creative films for a very creative film contest called "THE ABCS of DEATH".
After the jump, watch their films and vote for them by October 31! (help get out the vote by "liking" this post and tweeting about it!)

So first, about this unique contest..
Alamo Drafthouse Films has commissioned 25 well known horror directors to each direct a short based around a different letter in the alphabet.
The competition these alumni are submitted in is for the 26th letter, T. Each submission is based around T. The top ten vote getters will be shown to the 25 hired directors, and the video chosen by the 25 directors will be included in Alamo Drafthouse's "THE ABC'S OF DEATH" anthology film, which will be released theatrically in 2012. Additionally, the winning director will receive $5000.
1) First, check out aspiring director/producer/writer Jake Lasker's (W'14) "T is for Terror". Watch until the end and you'll get a good laugh!
2) Now watch writer/director Ryan Levin's (C'98) "T is for Tantrum". Another great ending in this film as well!
Vote for Ryan by going to http://26th.theabcsofdeath.com/t-is-for-tantrum/ and click "VOTE FOR THIS AS 26TH FILMMAKER".
Jake and Ryan need to be in the top ten in order to be shown to the judges and get a chance to win. Help spread the word!
...On a related note, be sure to check out how Ryan turned one of his short films into a feature film in 17 steps.
