Since we've been doing Pennfest here in LA (the emerging film and music festival), I have seen (and featured on DT) more and more great animation shorts from Penn's Digital Media Design department.
Now news that an undergrad from DMD is a finalist in a reputable animation festival.
And he needs your vote...
Jason Merrin (C'13) is one of 28 finalists in the 2009 Nickelodeon Animation Festival for his two and a half minute film called "The History of Animation". If he wins, he takes home $5,000.
As you'll see above, the film documents his animation skills from stick figures to computer animation.
Voting ends this Sunday, 11/29.
Vote HERE for Jason!
