20 ways you know you're a Penn student

In honor of this weekend's alumni weekend, I have a special treat for you.

Back in October, Clarissa Palmer (C'14), a new Penn freshman, wrote a great post about the DO's and DON'Ts of walking Locust Walk.

Now Clarissa came up with another great list I think all of us can appreciate about how you know you're a Penn student.

After the jump read her 20 points and see if you agree!

From Divorce Parties to First Husbands: Her new book

UPenn and Laura Dave and The First Husband
In my last post about Penn author Laura Dave (C'99, Writers House) her books The Divorce Party and London is the Best City in America were going Hollywood and being developed by Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon's production companies.

Today, Laura's new novel, The First Husband comes out and it's another novel that I'm sure will catch the attention of Hollywood again!

After the jump,
  • learn more about her new novel
  • read a passage from her book
  • discover where the story of this book came from, and
  • find out what exciting things are going on with her previously mentioned titles!

Penn alum's fantastically strange fetish for Telly Savalas

UPenn and Telly Savalas and Tom DiMenna

We first met Tom DiMenna (C'02) for this Valentine's Day love week where he sang "the red and blue" as Telly Savalas to all my DT readers.

Tom has continued milking his Telly character with a new "Telly Tips" episode he recently posted, as well as another Telly video which just landed him on the "Funny or Die" homepage yesterday.

After the jump, get sucked into the 1970s and check out how great Tom's got this character down!

UPenn and Finals and studying and Houston Hall

DT correspondent Kelly Diamond (C'13) has been busy studying for finals, but she sent in 2 videos that gladly distracted her from hitting the books.

After the jump, check out what sorts of fun you can find in Houston Hall around this time of year.
