3 reasons why you should watch this Penn girl getting serenaded

UPenn and Glee Club and Valentine's Day

I've got another goodie for all of you for my DT Love Week series.

Recently Penn's Glee Club serenaded a lucky young lady in the 1920 Commons.

While it was nothing like what they did on the SEPTA train last year, there are three reasons you should pay attention to this.

Find out why after the jump.

  • #1 - some great harmonies from the Glee Club
  • #2 - It's amazing to see that the Class of 1920s dining hall is almost exactly how I left it back in 1996.
  • #3 - At minute 0:51, you'll note that the group leader is using his iphone as a pitch pipe. Amazing. How times have changed : )

Watch the video below!

For alumni going back to Penn soon, the Glee Club's show entitled "Guys and Balls" is on Thursday, February 17 at 8:00pm, Friday, February 18 at 7:30pm, and Saturday, February 19 at 7:30pm in the Zellerbach Theatre.

Check out their fun trailer below:
