You MUST watch this: Penn alum lifts house with balloons

UPenn and National Geographic and How Hard Can it Be and Vin Marshall

Remember in the movie Up how the old man got his house to fly using balloons?

Well, Penn alum Vin Marshall (ENG '00, WQHS) actually accomplished this on the new show he is hosting on the National Geographic Channel called "How Hard Can It Be?" and it premieres this Sunday October 2nd.

After the jump watch this AWESOME clip of a "bonafide flying house" from the show and find out what 2 other captivating episodes of his will also be airing this week!

Ah, so THAT'S how you get to Penn Park (VIDEO)

UPenn and Penn Park and Walnut Street and PhiladelpiaLast week I did a post about Penn's new $43.5 million dollar addition: Penn Park.

I will say that even after I posted the video and saw the pictures of this Park I had some problems understanding how one would get there on the Penn campus.

Rest assured alumni who haven't been back to campus in a while; after the jump, Kelly Diamond (C'13), our DT undergrad correspondent has provided another one of her famous"15 second clips" which will put everything in perspective for you!

Jordan brings Girls Guide to espnW

UPenn and Jordan Zucker and Girls Guide to Fantasy Football and espn and espnw

Over the years on DT, I've covered Jordan Zucker's (C'97, Theta) entertainment journey as she's appeared on "Scrubs", cooked with Bobby Flay, interviewed NY Jets players, got featured on the morning news for her Girls Guide to Fantasy Football league, tried out for Oprah ...and now has been invited to join the team at espnW where she will be making videos throughout the fantasy football season.

After the jump watch Jordan's first video where she quizzes Giants fans about their team!

11 Penn alumni performances you need to check out

UPenn and Penn Live and Los AngelesLast week Los Angeles Penn alumni gathered in Hollywood to celebrate some great emerging Penn talent.

The night was filled with some dirty good comedy from host DJ Lubel (C'05) and great original music, improv, inspiring monologues, some over the top characters, a belting rendition of The National Anthem, and of course, a must-see musical(!) bit from the Bloomers alumni about what it means NOT to be Jewish at Penn. (hysterical!)

After the jump, check out some photos and videos from the night!

And congrats to Jeni Sue Birnbaum (C'08), Aimee Musil (C'06), Allison Karic (C'09), and EJ Baker (C'09) for putting together a spectacular event!
