Penn Alum's Film Nominated for 7 Oscars!

The Fighter and Oscars and Todd Lieberman and UPenn

Between Golden Globes, Critics Choice Awards, and Screen Actors Guild nominations and wins, it's been quite the award season for producer Todd Lieberman (C'95, Mask and Wig, AEPi) and his film The Fighter.

Yesterday, his film was nominated for the mother all of all awards:  7 Oscars including nominations for Best Picture, Directing for David O. Russell, Original Screenplay, Supporting Actress for Amy Adams and Melissa Leo, Supporting Actor for Christian Bale, and Editing.

Watch the ceremonies below and listen to Mo'nique shout out Todd's name at minute 6:20. (she didn't cut off his name in mid sentence like we saw HERE)

Congrats Todd!

From boardroom to the bedroom: Donny's new Bravo show

UPenn and Donny Deutsch and BravoTV and Love Calling

Known for being an advertising guru, Donny Deutsch (W'79) is now going to be dishing out advice starting this Thursday night, 11 pm ET/PT on his new half hour "Love Calling" Bravo TV show. (While I think this is going to be a weekly show, there is no indication yet on my DVR that I can set it as a "series".)

Yep, yet another Penn alum on Bravo!

More about the show and who it's actually open to after the jump!
