Jason Schneider's (C'07) stand-up: "Welcome to the Real World"

Exclusive! DT Video Job Post: Gabe Laskin (C'05) - Seeking Venue Management

In another new way of connecting alumni, last week at the Los Angeles PennClubLA event at the Crescent Hotel in Beverly Hills I chatted a bit with Gabe Laskin (C'05, Mask and Wig). He told me he was looking for a job in sports facility management. I figured it would be easier if you just listened directly from Gabe. (if you are reading this post via an RSS feed, you'll have to click here to view the video on the site)

After we filmed this video, Gabe told me he wanted to add that he is interested in any venue sort of management (big venues, especially) -from sports venues to venues which feature live touring acts, i.e. concerts.

Any Los Angeles alumni out there who can speak with Gabe? Email Gabe at lasking@gmail.com.

Which Penn executive alum said this?

“tweens actually have proven to be a very viable audience to reach on linear television. They are very loyal; they are not as fickle as people think they are.” Teenagers, he said, are tougher to reach, once they are unleashed by parents into the digital world."

Mike Karz (C'89, W'89) to produce Fratboy

Mike Karz (C'89, W'89) is all set to produce the film Fratboy through his Karz Entertainment shingle.

Per comingsoon.net, "The comedy revolves around a man brought up in a frat house, raised by generations of house brothers. When he is reunited with his birth mother, he wreaks havoc on her chic home furnishings company with his rowdy, ill-behaved ways."
